Museum Explorers – Ferris Wheel Fun!

Did you know that Witney Feast has been bringing fun and festivities to the town since 1243?

To celebrate this long-standing tradition, we’re inviting you to join us from 10am–1pm on Wednesday 23rd July 2025 at Witney and District Museum for a free, family-friendly drop-in workshop!

Step right up and get creative as we take inspiration from the sights, sounds, and stories of the fair! You can:

🎨 Design and build your own mini Ferris Wheel – Will it spin? Will it sparkle? It’s up to you!
🎠 Discover the history of Witney Feast – Find out what made the fair so special in days gone by.
🎡 Imagine your dream fairground – Rides, food, games… what would you add?

No experience needed and all materials are provided. Children and young people under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This is a relaxed, drop-in event – pop in any time between 10am and 1pm.

Entry to the museum is free.
