Whether you’ve discovered something while gardening, walking the dog, or metal detecting, now’s your chance to find out more! You can:
🔍 Bring along your mystery objects – Ed will help identify archaeological finds and offer expert insight into what they might be.
🗺️ Learn about the Portable Antiquities Scheme and how to record your finds.
🏺 Get hands-on with real archaeological objects from the region in our special object handling session, a chance to explore history up close.
This event is perfect for curious minds of all ages. No experience needed and no booking required.
Please note: This is a relaxed, drop-in session, pop in any time between 10am and 1pm. Children and young people under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
